StockEgg.com - DTRO technology may help prevent another Oil Spill

Stock Egg   (Wednesday, July 21, 2010 8:08 PM EST)

Special Alert - DTRO

My new pick is DTRO

After reviewing the chart, DTRO maybe setting up to rally off the support level. DTRO has been reporting an array of great news, including the news about a 60% increase in revenue for one of their subsidiary!!

By now we all know what`s going on in the Gulf of Mexico.

BP has been at the front of the headlines for months now. The company`s Deepwater Horizon rig has caused an oil spill that is considered now the largest ever in the Gulf of Mexico!

The cost of dealing with the spill has reached nearly $4 billion!

The tragic aftermath of the spill has affected so many lives in the Gulf.

The fishing industry has suffered, tourism has suffered, animals have died, pets have been abandoned, people have lost their jobs.. the list goes on and on.

Now imagine if all of this could have been avoided. Turn your attention to DTRO.

DTRO has a wholly owned subsidiary called Blu Vu, a developer of proprietary closed circuit rebreather technology and components that go beyond conventional scuba systems to enable commercial and recreational divers to go deeper, stay underwater longer and recover faster.

This breathing technology can be used in extreme environments that include:

-- Deep sea oil & gas exploration and production
-- Mining
-- Search and rescue
-- Fire
-- Building safety
-- Hazardous materials applications

With BP in the headlines practically everyday, DTRO may see a wide market especially in the deep sea oil & gas exploration sector.

There is a critical need for solutions to improve inspection, maintenance and repair of deep water oil and gas rigs like BP?s Deepwater Horizon.

This is where DTRO`s technology could come in handy.

It should be dire for offshore drilling companies to have comprehensive maintenance in order to avoid disasters.

The Gulf oil spill is so catastrophic that President Obama has even signed an executive order establishing the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling to take a comprehensive look at oil and gas industry operations and regulations.

President Obama commented that the Commission is to "thoroughly examine the spill and its causes, so that we never face such a catastrophe again."

We don`t know all the details about why the explosion happened, but DTRO with their technology could be a significant aid in preventing future ones.

DTRO CEO Henry Larrucea commented, "The BP spill and its disastrous effects on the environment and economy of the Gulf of Mexico highlight the urgent need for better deep sea maintenance and prevention solutions for oil and gas exploration and production."

"Our Blu Vu rebreather technology is designed to maximize dive time and diver efficiency in order to enable offshore drillers to provide better regular inspection and maintenance and fast, effective response to equipment failures, leaks and spills," he further said.

DTRO`s solutions are engineered to allow offshore drilling companies to provide more comprehensive equipment inspections and thorough maintenance operations as well as maximizing diving time when needed during critical spill containment maneuvers.

DTRO`s Blu Vu division expects to launch two new rebreathing components for commercial and recreational diving this October!

DTRO has another wholly owned subsidiary called Elasco Inc., a polyurethane and plastics design, molding and manufacturing company with a highly automated production facility in Southern California.

Between January and June of 2010 Deltron?s wholly owned subsidiary generated a 60% increase in revenue over the same period last year!

DTRO recently announced that Elasco, Inc. has been selected to provide high end polyurethane wheels to Matthews Studio Equipment, Inc., a leading global supplier of lighting and camera hardware to the entertainment industry!

DTRO CEO Henry Larrucea, commented, "Being selected as the vendor of choice by a company known in the entertainment industry for its high quality equipment is extremely gratifying."

In 2009 Elasco, Inc. generated over $2 million in revenue and $127,700 in earnings, before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA).

DTRO believes the division will significantly increase revenue and production this year given its improvement in year over year sales!
