HEMP, INC. (OTCMKTS:HEMP) Going Down Hard

HEMP, INC. (OTCMKTS:HEMP) has had a tough couple of sessions – it crashed 26.47% on Thursday and another 16.82% on Friday.

HEMP, like most companies in the branch, has produced much in the way of press releases lately. The sort of publicity the statements of company officials generate seems to have done a good job of pushing many tickers up the charts.

Companies like Growlife Inc. (OTCBB:PHOT), Creative Edge Nutrition Inc. (OTCMKTS:FITX) and GreenGro Technologies, Inc. (OTCMKTS:GRNH) have all exploited that strategy to rise their market value in recent sessions. However, it is becoming more and more obvious that this particular tactic is losing effectiveness quickly.

A perfect example of this is the news of HEMP‘s collaboration with VaporBrands International, Inc. (OTCMKTS:VAPR). It came out before the Friday session and was perfectly timed to break the company’s rapid decline that began during the first hour of the previous session. Sadly for HEMP, it didn’t work out as well as it could have – the ticker was still dropping by the end of the trading week. The company closed at $0.183 on Friday.

Thus even though the marijuana stock market obviously isn’t getting any more stable, a discernible pattern is certainly emerging. Despite all the media attention that is still thrown at it, it appears that redundant, wordy, vague and uninformative press releases are becoming more and more inconsequential.

It is likely that we will soon see most pot stocks returned to the parts of the charts where they actually belong.
