How High Can Global Equity International Inc. (OTCBB:GEQU) Rise?

Global Equity International Inc. (OTCBB:GEQU) added another 19.44% yesterday, in spite of all the red flags that surround it – but how long can it keep up the pace?

Sadly, there is no way to know how long a pump jump will endure. Some touts don’t manage to arouse any interest in investors whatsoever, others backfire and just cause the ticker to crash, others can push the targeted company up for anywhere from a couple of minutes to a month or more.

An excellent and current example of said unpredictability is Cherubim Interests Inc. (OTCMKTS:CHIT). The last time it was touted, it crashed horribly without even making a decent upward run. It then proceeded to fall from about a nickel almost all the way to triple zero territory, before exploding up the charts yesterday for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Obviously, there is money to be made in such runs – but is it worth the risk?

That’s up to investors to decide. However, before a decision is reached, it is highly advisory that said investors do due diligence on the company in question, so that the decision would be informed and that it would have a better chance of leading to a profitable outcome.

Unfortunately, any due diligence on GEQU leads to the realization that the only thing that is keeping the ticker up is the pump. The company has little else going for it:

  • cash – $734 NUMBER NOT IN THOUSANDS
  • current assets – $52 thousand
  • current liabilities – $3.9 million
  • quarterly revenues – $1.1 million
  • quarterly net income – $373 thousand

Add the fact that 448 MILLION out of the 482 MILLION shares that GEQU had outstanding as of August 12, 2015 have been issued after November 11, 2014.

Another detail that should not be missed is that in July 2015 alone, the company has issued millions of shares at rates between $0.00045 and $0.0007.

This all leads to the conclusion that although the ticker has been climbing the charts steadily in the last month or so, its position on the charts is far from secure. Once said position is challenged, GEQU will probably have a crash uglier than anything seen on the OTC Markets in quite some time.

What makes investing in GEQU so risky is the fact that said crash may come at any time, and that it will probably come sooner than most investors anticipate.
