How Long Can Global Equity International Inc (OTCBB:GEQU) Climb

[[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 1]]Global Equity International Inc (OTCBB:GEQU) had quite the bad start of the year, but things have been better in the past several months. Let’s not forget that the ticker lost its OTCQB status in the beginning of the year and the management has expressed its commitment to bring the stock back to the higher tier.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Things, however, haven’t been going exactly as planned. One thing that is certainly in the way of that happening is the financial situation of the company. The numbers contained in the balance sheet of [[tagnumber 6]]GEQU’s[[tagnumber 7]] report for the second quarter of the year look quite bad.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 12]]cash: $734[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]current assets: $52,490[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]current liabilities: $3,899,798[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]quarterly revenues: $1,140,500[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]quarterly net income: $372,802[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 22]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Even though the company was capable of generating impressive revenues and finishing the quarter with a net income we can’t go past the fact that the small amount of cash on hand is going to be a problem. But there is another, more frightening thing and it’s called dilution.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]As we have written in our previous article [[tagnumber 6]]GEQU[[tagnumber 7]] has issued a grand total of [[tagnumber 6]]74,859,795 shares of common stock[[tagnumber 7]] between July 1 and August 6 at [[tagnumber 6]]prices ranging from[[tagnumber 7]] [[tagnumber 6]]$0.00045 to $0.0007[[tagnumber 7]]. The company has stated that it would stay away from toxic financing in the future, but this doesn’t change the fact that there might be millions of heavily discounted shares waiting to be dumped on the market.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]This didn’t stop [[tagnumber 6]]GEQU[[tagnumber 7]] from climbing above the 1 cent per share mark once again and reaching new heights after gaining 12.31% in yesterday’s session. As the ticker went on to close at $0.0146 we saw a total of 17.34 million shares change their owners and generate $215 thousand in daily collar volume.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]It seems, however, that this might be as high as [[tagnumber 6]]GEQU[[tagnumber 7]] can get as it is sitting 4.11% down as of the writing of this article. If it will manage to keep a price of above 1 cent per share for 30 days, in order to meet OTCQB standard requirements is for time to tell. Meanwhile, you should be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out the risks before attempting any trades.[[tagnumber 2]]
