Lot78,Inc. (OTC:LOTE) Seems Unshakable, Is It Really?

Fresh tickers come with a promise for fast events, hopefully gainful. So far Lot78,Inc. (OTC:LOTE) has not disappointed, logging a solid streak of buying in the past few days after years of negligible volumes. The major reason for this is the March 12th promotional mail, but even more than a week afterwards the effect lingers and investors can’t get enough of LOTE, although the emails only continued until March 14th. The fresh start for LOTE follows its new name and ticker selection, as only a few weeks ago the company traded as Bold Energy, Inc. with the ticker BOLD. However, there was nothing bold in its financial fundamentals:

  • $5,483 cash
  • $147,729 total liabilities
  • Zero revenues
  • $38,466 net loss

The latest data came in on March 18th, and along with other recent announcements and press noise helped keep the minds of potential investors occupied. But the negative working capital and no revenues of this budding urban clothes designer are the least of the red flags surrounding the stock. Currently at $1.39, LOTE would have a long way to fall if investors take seriously its other flaws. 0Headquarters.jpg

The identity switch from BOLD to Lot78 happened after a reverse buyout, paid in stock, of which there are insider holdings of 18 million shares. Thus, LOTE is a vehicle for the business of the urban fashionistas, with the possibility of future gains. But the most prominent boost came from a slew of paid promoters, with a budget of $60,000. The main promoter was closely held Global Media LLC, and the pumpers make a formidable team: 1-2-3 Stock Alerts, Penny Stock Circle, Penny Stock Players and The Stock Scout . The general gains in price have been modest, given that LOTE started from a relatively high price.

The London-based Lot78 offers somehow high-end casual clothing, but its American office is quite frugal, in fact, a magical house that fits more than one penny stock company:

  • One Clean Planet, Inc. (f/k/a Singular Cheft Inc.) (PINK:SGUFD)
  • Homie Recipes Inc (OTC:HOMR)
  • Vacation Home Swap, Inc. (PINK:VCHS)
  • Kunekt Corp (PINK:KNKT)
  • Eco Energy Pumps, Inc. (PINK:EEPU)
  • Gilla Inc (PINK:GLLA)
  • Numbeer, Inc. (PINK:NUMB)
  • Victory Energy Corp. (VYEY)

While Lot78 may be the next fashion must-have, we can’t say so about its stock, not at the moment. Pumped tickers tend to crash suddenly, and looking at the past record of active promoters like Penny Stock Circle, this is not a rare event. We will watch LOTE in the next few days, attempting to make a clearer picture of its risks.
