Medbox Inc (OTCMKTS:MDBX) Sinks Lower

[[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 1]]Medbox Inc (OTCMKTS:MDBX) and its shareholders have had a terrible experience throughout 2014 and into 2015. Back in the beginning of last year the company stock was traded for more than $40 per share, but by now it has lost more than 99% of that value.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Meanwhile, the company operations haven’t been very well either. This is evident by the numbers that were contained in the balance sheet of [[tagnumber 6]]MDBX’s[[tagnumber 7]] report for the first quarter of the year, which looked something like this.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 12]]cash: $92 thousand[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]current assets: $1.4 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]current liabilities: $10.2 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]quarterly revenues: $66 thousand[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]quarterly net loss: $4.4 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 22]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Despite these numbers and all the other red flags that we have previously discussed the stock managed to climb up the charts for a brief moment in the beginning of this month. The ascent lasted for three consecutive sessions in which [[tagnumber 6]]MDBX[[tagnumber 7]] recorded some impressive gains.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Those gains, however, were quickly obliterated and the ticker kept crawling down the charts. Despite the positive publicity which [[tagnumber 6]]MDBX[[tagnumber 7]] is receiving it lost another 14.06% in yesterday’s session. The 2.2 million shares that were traded during the day generated $269 thousand in daily dollar volume.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Today we see [[tagnumber 6]]MDBX [[tagnumber 7]]a bit more stable, but that doesn’t mean that the ticker can’t return to its downward slide. Doing your due diligence and weighing out the risks before putting any money on the line is crucial.[[tagnumber 2]]
