Great Plains is leasing the facility in further development of their oilseed production program. This is at the higher end of industry standards, which range from 94.4% to 97.5% for an oil seed such as soybean. Riggs Eckelberry, OriginOil`s CEO said, "This level of efficiency is astonishing for a process that requires less than a tenth of the energy of conventional processes, and without needing chemicals.... I congratulate our PhD researchers and the team at IIRMES for their achievement and very hard work." They then get 3rd party facilities to refine it into biodiesel/ethanol and profit from the sell. But, since they have the patent, they stand a chance of getting financeing for their own facility to refine which would make them money... but I don`t see how they can overcome 150million in debt without reformign...
