Sack Lunch Productions Inc (OTCMKTS:SAKL) As Hesitant As Ever

Sack Lunch Productions Inc (OTCMKTS:SAKL) has been steadily climbing up the charts since the beginning of the year, but the company stock is quite illiquid. There have been several attempts at generating investor interest by paid promotions and they have yielded less than impressive results.

Meanwhile, the company is doing fairly well. It is one of many OTC marketplace entities that manages to have positive financial reports. Unfortunately, the latest one wasn’t as good as the one before it. Here are some of the numbers of prime interest contained in SAKL’s report for the annual 2015.

  • cash: $1 million
  • current assets: $3.16 million
  • current liabilities: $6.15 million
  • annual revenues: $10.66 million
  • annual net loss: $567 thousand

The company has done fairly decently, but has finished the year at a net loss mainly due to huge event costs and an increase in general and administrative expenses. SAKL has been rather silent since earlier this month, but Goldman Small Cap Research has issued a research report on the company stock after being compensated $2,500 by SAKL itself.

This might have helped push the ticker 19.09% up after the 16.60% loss in recorded in Tuesday’s session. As SAKL was going for a close at $0.131 we saw a total of 734 thousand shares change their owners, generating $92 thousand in daily dollar volume. The small interest, despite the touting, wasn’t surprising the company stock’s lack of liquidity.

SAKL is doing fairly good in today’s session so far. The ticker reached a high of 14 cents per share, but has come down to $0.133. In any case, be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out the risks before putting any money on the line.
