Drone Aviation Holding Corp. (OTCMKTS:DRNE) Regains Some Lost Value

[[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 1]]Drone Aviation Holding Corp. (OTCMKTS:DRNE) didn’t start the year very well, but it began to climb in midFebruary and had reached a price of 50 cents per share by the early sessions of March.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Then it began to hesitate at $0.40 throughout the second half of the month in anticipation of the company’s annual report. The said report was filed on time and, unfortunately, it appears that the numbers weren’t to the liking of investors. Here are some of them.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 9]] [[tagnumber 10]]cash: $1.3 million[[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 10]]current assets: $1.4 million[[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 10]]current liabilities: $176 thousand[[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 10]]yearly revenues: $858 thousand[[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 10]]yearly net loss: $2.1 million[[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 20]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]And while these numbers weren’t that bad there was something else that was most probably DRNE’s biggest issue. Back before the merger that created [[tagnumber 24]]DRNE[[tagnumber 25]] Macrosolve, Inc. had 190,764,559 outstanding shares that were reduced by 50 times. This puts the number of outstanding common shares the remaining entity after the merger had at about 4 million.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]When you look at the company’s filings you will notice that there were more than 32 million OS shares as of November 7, 2014. This number has increased to 45 million as of March 31, 2015, which is quite a lot of dilution.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]In the meantime, there are still quite a lot of preferred DRNE shares that can be converted into common stock and flood the market. After four sessions of closing in the red, however, [[tagnumber 24]]DRNE[[tagnumber 25]] finished last week in the green, adding 11.54% to its value for a close at $0.259 on a $134 thousand daily dollar volume.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Today hasn’t started that good and [[tagnumber 24]]DRNE[[tagnumber 25]] is in the red as of the writing of this article. In any case, you should be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out the risks before putting any money on the line.[[tagnumber 2]]
