Fake APS Emails on USA Graphite Inc (OTC:USGT)

USGT_Chart.pngThe ongoing pump efforts for USA Graphite Inc (OTC:USGT) added a new approach. We have received two pump letters supposed to be sent by Awesome Penny Stocks (APS).

On Friday, USGT closed flat at $0.69, but that price was reached around the close. For most of the session the stock traded much lower, and after hours trading got the price down to $0.49.

In an attempt to salvage the failing promotion, the pumpers are trying to use the name of another big newsletter. It’s a rather sloppy job. For starters the email address the letters were sent from is not that of APS. Another obvious clue is the fake banner which has been screen-captured in an html editor, and can be easily distinguished from the real one.

Additionally, APS puts up a banner on its web page when it’s promoting a stock, and there is no such banner for USGT. Not to mention the lack of the usual APS disclaimer.

FARE.pngAPS abandoned it’s latest real pump job, World Moto, Inc. (OTC:FARE), last Wednesday after a disastrous crash.

USGT hasn’t issued any press releases since Jan. 4 and the latest filing dates back to Dec. 11. The things which are keeping it afloat are the paid promotion, the spam emails and now this fake APS email, which may actually have a very negative effect.

The actual paid pumper behind USGT is the Stock Castle group, which is still mailing its tout letters. It will be interesting to see how much longer this pump job can survive.
