Great American Energy, Inc. (OTCMKTS:SRBL) Slides Despite Penny Stock Prophet Emails

The last month has been a wild ride for Great American Energy, Inc. (OTCMKTS:SRBL). The ticker moved erratically, mostly sideways, but with days of great corrections, like the last two days. Currently, the ticker slid down only about 1 percent to 51 cents, after Monday’s sharper correction from 67 cents. SRBL0626.png

The latest promotion for SRBL on June 25th had a net negative effect on the day, despite the reiteration of the promise that the Bear Creek property would soon be operational. PST Alerts was paid $7,000, a relatively small amount, to tout SRBL once again, after a long series of promotions in 2013. This ticker has been on and off the radar, gaining and sliding dramatically, all in response to the intensity of the promotional and PR efforts. SOLS0626.png

Now, SRBL has another bet- lithium mining, citing increased demand from the global industry to produce batteries. This, however, speaks nothing of the company’s ability to successfully market US-mined lithium. Financially, SRBL has the following resources for its ambitious projects:

  • $113 thousand cash
  • $23 thousand current liabilities
  • Zero revenues
  • $413,000 net loss

Those are not the data of a company well-equipped to run large mining operations. But SRBL has been thriving on promotions, increasing greatly its volumes in 2013. In the latest round of promotions, pumpers received up to $30,000 for messages, as in the case of Penny Stock Prophet, paid by Lake Group Media, Inc. The same paying party has taken Sollensys, Inc. (OTCMKTS:SOLS), and its graph has turned quite similar to that of SRBL.

A similar trend is seen in iTalk, Inc. (OTCBB:TALK), a ticker that gets pushed to the foreground from time to time in the past months. At the end of each bout of promotions, usually a significant correction happens.

As for SRBL, its current valley could mean the possibility to buy cheap. If promoters stay a bit longer, we may expect more active days, although in the past month the mining company has turned into a short-term bet. It is best to stay away unless you are fast enough or you could afford the losses.
