Neutra Corp. (OTC:NTRR) Joins the Medical Marijuana Team

It’s a green spring on the OTC markets, and by green we mean another romp of medical marijuana stocks, with old names and new contenders vying for attention and perhaps a repetition of the climbs marked at the end of last year. At the end of March, Neutra Corp. (OTC:NTRR) decided to switch business models and take up medical marijuana services as its main activity. After a series of press releases touting the benefits of this business, the ticker managed to grow more than five times, reaching $3.60. The unusually high price for a penny stock company follows a one for 20 reverse split from last August. NTRR0402.png

If “green is good”, let’s see how NTRR stacks up in terms of finance and if it could do well as yet another company to take up medical marijuana: SKTO0402.png

  • $7,580 cash
  • $189,247 total liabilities
  • Zero revenues
  • $98,077 net loss

It seems so far NTRR has achieved little but finance itself through debt and equity, searching for the right business model. The ticker is so far unknown to our database, and being brand new, may not see a promotion for a while. So far, the novelty factor has helped volumes and prices, and may soon call the attention of pumpers.

A similar thing happened to the stock of Norstra Energy, Inc. (OTC:NORX), a stock that climbed on its own soon after starting active trading as an OTC pink sheet. Now NORX is the latest pick of Penny Stock Crew.

But let’s have a look what happens to the medical marijuana stocks in general. Medical Marijuana, Inc. (OTC:MJNA) is drifting sideways around 25 cents. So is GreenGro Technologies, Inc. (OTC:GNGR), around 6 cents. SK3 Group, Inc. (OTC:SKTO) is doing better, but it managed to gain attention with novelty, joining Team Green only in the past few weeks. The ticker went up in value 20 times since its promotion started on March 11th. SKTO has the advantage of starting at triple zeroes, which promised higher potential returns than the older marijuana tickers.

Keep NTRR in mind in the next few days, but remember that the novelty factor is the main engine for this ticker and plan your acceptable losses and your time horizon accordingly.
