Whisper From Wall Street Keep us in the Dark About HOKUTOU HOLDINGS INT (PINK:HKTU)

HKTU.pngWould you invest in a company you know nothing about? If you ask Whisper From Wall Street, there is absolutely nothing wrong about that. They also don’t mind telling you that it’s perfectly OK to invest in a company that has very little financial information filed with the OTC Markets, and that as long as there are some exciting news coming, it’ll all be good and in the end and you will walk away with a huge profit. The company they have in mind is HOKUTOU HOLDINGS INT (PINK:HKTU).

It seems that HKTU is shrouded in mystery. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the company was a new one, however, they were incorporated way back in 1999. Over time, they have changed their name a couple of times, and there are some interesting results coming up when you dig into the days gone by, but let’s leave the past for a moment, and see what they have at present.

The answer is “not very much”. When you have a look through their profile on the OTC Markets’ website, you will find only one quarterly report. They say that this is because, they have recently been acquired by a company called Chadwick & Collins. We don’t know about you, but in our book, this isn’t much of an excuse. Anyway, what are they doing right now? The answer remains the same: “not very much”. They say that at the moment they are in the business of distributing nutraceuticals and dietary supplements, but if we have to be honest, looking through their only report, we’re not too sure if they will get anywhere with this. Here are the most crucial financials:

  • cash: $550
  • total liabilities: $29 thousand
  • no revenue
  • net loss: $4 thousand

HKTU_logo.pngAt best it’s way too early to call it, although, we can’t imagine, especially in today’s economy, that starting a successful business is done with $550 in the bank. The best thing we could do at this point is wish them the best of luck and advice you to carefully weigh the risks. The thing that disturbs us the most, however, is the fact that they are extremely secretive. As hard as we tried, we just couldn’t find any information at all about the venture that supposedly acquired HKTU – Chadwick & Collins. There is no website, no portfolio of subsidiaries and nothing related to what they do or who they are.

What is also extremely disconcerting is the fact that, there is absolutely no mention of what HKTU have been up to in the past. As we mentioned, there is nothing in terms of official reports, and we could only find HKTU‘s previous names in the company profile page at OTC Market. This is where things start to look interesting. During 1999 HKTU changed their name twice (in February, they became known as Golden Chain Marketing Inc. and in December, they changed the name again to Virtuallender.com, Inc.). Both these names appear in a lawsuit filed by SEC against a person called Stanley Medley, who apparently defrauded the shareholders and made quite a lot of money, which of course he was forced to return.

0GVIT.pngIn their email, Whisper From Wall Street say that they don’t need pages of research to know that HKTU is a solid company, but having all of the above in mind, we beg to argue. Then again, we often get their alerts, but more often than not, things don’t work quite the way the emails would suggest. GEO VISION INTERNATO (PINK:GVIT) is a great case in point. Their pump took place between January 23-25 and you can see for yourself what happened after the hype stopped.
