Bullish Engulfing Pattern

A bullish engulfing pattern shows a small black candlestick followed by a large white candlestick. The second candlestick completely "engulfs" the first candlestick. This trend suggests that the bulls are prevailing over the bears in the price movement of a security, and is said to forecast a declining trend.
