Chikou Span

The Chikou Span is a part of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo indicator. The Chikou span is created by plotting the last 26-periods of closing prices, excluding the latest one. An upward trend is manifested when the Chikou span is above the closing prices, while it is considered downward when the indicator is located below closing prices. A downward Chikou Span usually signals that the price of the asset will likely experience a pullback.
