Confirmation

A confirmation is the written acknowledgment given by the broker to indicate that a trade has been completed and usually includes details such as the date of the trade, the price, commission, fees and settlement terms. In trading trends, a confirmation bolsters the event that a predicted trend will happen. A confirmation usually involves two or more related indicators that increases the likelihood of a prediction to come true.
