Momentum Investing

Momentum investing aims to take advantage of the continuance of current market trends. A momentum investor thinks that if a trend is established, it will like continue in that direction, i.e. upward moving stocks will go higher as time goes. So a momentum investor will take a long position on the stock to profit.
