Moving Average - MA

A moving average is a frequently-used indicator that shows average value of a security's or stock's price over a certain period. This usually measures momentum and is useful in identifying areas of support and resistance. Moving averages are also useful to emphasize a trend's direction and to smooth out price and volume fluctuations.
