The Russell Microcap Index is composed of the 1,000 smallest companies included in the Russell 2000 index along with 1,000 of the smaller American listed stocks. Excluding OTC stocks and pink sheets, the index represents the smallest securities traded in the U.S. and gives accurate trends in small and startup companies.
