Technical Correction

A technical correction is a fall in the market price of an asset or entire market after a series of price increases. Technical corrections happens even when there is no fundamental reason for such a drop. This means that although there is even when there is no indicator that the increasing price trend should stop, and is often brought about when investors intermittently slow down their purchases of securities. The decrease in purchase volume will stem the upward prices from continuing while the market reconsiders the short-term direction.
