Big Board

The Big Board is another name for the New York Stock Exchange, which was founded in 1792. The New York Stock Exchange, the oldest exchange in the United States and currently has more than 2,000 traded stocks, started off trading under a buttonwood tree, which was where Wall Street was founded.
