Buy Weakness

Buy weakness is basically the opposite of selling into strength, and happens when a trader profits by buying into a long position or closing out of a short position. This strategy is used when the price of the traded asset is expected to reverse from a fall and move against the trader. In buy weakness, the trader would buy into a weakening stock price at a level below the expected final price, then sells it when the prices gets to the target level.
