On-Balance Volume - OBV

On balance volume detects momentum, and relates it to price change. OBV gives a running total of volume and shows if that volume is flowing in or out of a particular stock or security. Developed by Joe Granville, OBV is a great indicator of when many buyers by a certain stock or when it is sold by many sellers.
