Sideways Trend

Sideways trend is the horizontal movement in prices that generally happens when the forces of demand and supply are nearly equal. Generally seen as a period of consolidation before the prices goes back to the previous trend it followed. Also called a horizontal trend, sideways trend is generally seen when the price goes between strong levels of resistance and support.
