Uptrend

An uptrend is when the price of a certain asset is increasing. Formally, an uptrend occurs when each successive peak and through is higher than the peaks and throughs found previously in the trend. A strong uptrend provides a great opportunity to profit before the time comes to sell it, usually when a new peak or trough occurs lower than previous ones.
