Value Stock

A value stock is one that usually trades at a lower price when compared to its fundamentals. If a stock has good dividends, sales or revenue and it is cheaper considering these, or undervalued, then it is a value stock. Value stocks usually have a high dividend yield, low price-to-earnings ratio and/or low price-to-book ratio.
