Absolute Breadth Index - ABI

The absolute breadth index is a market indicator that determines volatility levels without considering the direction of the price. Taking the absolute value of the difference between the number of decreasing and increasing issues. The ABI is large when volatility is increasing and can affect the stock prices in the near future.
